Breakfast On The Go: Five Effortless Solutions
Research has established that anyone who eats a morning meal develop less weight, are sharper and have healthier hearts. After not eating, for hours or so overnight, our bodies should to be refueled. Breakfast kick starts our metabolism. People who skip breakfast are likely to end up in a mid-morning crash and intake more calories through out the day.
Having such a full lifestyle presents a healthy dietary challenge. In general, unless we awaken early, we are more often than not running out the door, running your kids out the door, or both. While intellectually we are conscious of the importance of eating breakfast, occasionaly it is that one more thing we just can’t get to.
I have found a quick step solution that allows me to take breakfast while on the run. The following are some of my ideal portable breakfasts:
- A bran muffin, (make a batch and freeze them ), a glass of milk and fruit.
- A fruit smoothie made with milk and protein powder.
- A cheese sandwich on rye bread with salad.
- A hard boiled egg, a glass of milk, and a banana.
- A peanut butter and honey sandwich on whole wheat bread and fruit.
Experiment with your favorite foods and create your own breakfast on the run. Ensure you to include a fresh fruit or vegetable, a good form of fiber and a protein. Include your fruit with your breakfast or have it as your midmorning snack. Make your first meal of the day a habit. After all, not only are you helping your body but teaching your family members good eating habits, also.
